|
The RF Microsystems Group is part of the Center for Wireless and Microwave Information Systems (WAMI) at the Department of Electrical Engineering The group, under the guidance of Prof. Tom Weller has graduated 26 Masters and 4 PhD graduates during the period from 1997 - 2006, all successfully employed at top notch RF companies and universities. We also encourage the undergraduate students by involving them in Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) and senior design projects. The RF Microsystems group is also home to doctoral scholars from the NSF sponsored IGERT and the Bridge to Doctorate programs The main focus is in the areas of design, fabrication, measurement and modeling of RF MEMS circuits, ultra nano-crystalline diamond based circuits, ultra wideband (UWB) based sensor networks for cancer detection, printed antennas and various other MMIC circuitry
